TRAVEL BOOKING
Please book your own flights following your usual processes – for directions on arrival and departure times please see below. The Global Travel and Expense Policy states that Economy flights should be booked for domestic travel within EU for flights less than five hours.

ARRIVAL
Book flights to arrive at leisure before 14.00 on Monday 20th January 2020.
If you will have difficulty arriving by 2pm on Monday 20th January please contact Rhi Wheeler to discuss options.

DEPARTURE
Employees from Oxford (with the exception of the UK affiliate and Partner Markets) and Canada can leave at leisure on Friday 24th January.
Employees from all other countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Nordics, France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, UK Affiliate and Partner Markets) should leave the hotel after the meeting finishes at 12:30pm on Friday 24th January 2020. 
We therefore suggest flight times from 15:00 onwards on Friday afternoon.

AIRPORT
The nearest airport is Malaga which is approximately a 45 minute drive / 60km (dependant on traffic). Transfers will be organised from the airport to the hotel and return.

GALA & AWARDS EVENING

The Greatest Showman - Vintage Circus Glamour

(Please feel free to dress up in Circus themed costumes such as Animals, Acrobats, Performers, Ring Master, Clown or as a glamourous guest at the Circus)

 

ACTIVITIES

A yoga class is available at 06:30am on Tuesday 21st January for 1 hour. If there is high demand, there will also be a class on Wednesday morning too. 

From 14:00 on Thursday 23rd January activities will be available for everyone to take part in. On the registration form you will be asked to choose from the options below and your activity will be confirmed to you at a later date.

Please ensure you choose a 1st and 2nd activity option. Due to maximum numbers on some activities, your 1st choice may not be possible. 
 

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE

ROUND OF GOLF
A round of golf at the Marbella Club. In order to play here, you must have a golf handicap and the golf course requires you to bring your certificate for approval. Please note for golf a packed lunch will be available rather than the conference buffet lunch.  

SPA TREATMENT
There will be a choice of a massage or a facial. There is very limited availability on the spa treatments and this is on a first come first serve basis. Please choose your preferred spa treatment and then also another activity should the spa be fully booked.  

BOOTCAMP
Bootcamp on the beach for those who fancy a workout. 

FLAMENCO DANCING
Enjoy learning the traditional Spanish dance. 

TENNIS
A game of tennis. Dependant on the interest a tournament can be arranged for guests to enjoy.

PADDLE TENNIS
A game of paddle tennis. Dependant on the interest a tournament can be arranged for guests to enjoy. 

TAPAS AND WINE TASTING IN MARBELLA
Enjoy traditional tapas and wine tasting in Marbella Old Town. 

TIME AT LEISURE 
Enjoy the facilities at the hotel, bikes are available to hire from concierge. 

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ACTIVITY
Help build a bike for the local community and charities to enjoy. 

 

CHARITY ACTIVITY

This year there is the option to participate in a Charity walk or running event on the evening of Wednesday 22nd January. This will take place at approximately 17:45 - 19:00 on the Promenade down by the beach.

The distance is optional between 3km or 5km walk or run and 10km run. Please note if you choose to do the 10km run this has to be completed within the hour. 

The charity we will be raising money for is Rainforest Alliance.

Adaptors are only available upon request from the hotel reception. Please therefore bring your own with you.

AIRPORT
The closest airport to Hotel Puente Romano is Malaga which is approximately 45 minutes away.

ATM
There is an ATM located next to the Monkey Club Restaurant at the hotel and a bank just outside the hotel. 

BREAKFAST
Available in Alhambra from 07:00 - 08:30.

FITNESS FACILITIES
The hotel has a spa, gym and 3 pools, one of which is open year round. The hotel also has a tennis club with various tennis and paddle tennis courts. With direct access to the beach and 7km beach promenade, it also has good jogging and walking opportunities. 

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Transfers will be organised for all delegates to and from the hotel and airport.

HAIR DRYER
There is a hair dryer in every bedroom. There is also a hairdresser available onsite next to the Monkey Club. 

HOSPITAL
In case of an emergency you can contact the hotel call centre or concierge and they will assist you. The nearest public hospital is Hospital Costal del Sol, Autovia A-7, Km 87, 29603 Marbella, Malaga, 0034 951 91 66 69 and is 15 minutes away by car. 

HOTEL BILL
On check-out please settle your "extras" such as bar consumptions after the official functions have ended, or any spa treatments that will have been charged to your room (except the treatment that has been included as part of the Thursday afternoon activity). THESE CANNOT BE CLAIMED BACK VIA CONCUR / EXPENSE PROCESS. All conference costs will be settled by Jazz Pharmaceuticals.

MEETING TIMES
The conference starts at 16:00 on Monday 20th January. Please ensure you arrive at the hotel prior to this time.

REGISTRATION DESK/WELCOME PACKS
On arrival please make your way to our Registration Desk to pick up your delegate directory and name badge. This will be manned from Monday 20th January. An Event Manager will be there if you have questions regarding the conference / travel arrangements throughout the event.

RESTAURANTS 
The hotel has various restaurants onsite including the Sea Grill, El Chiringuito, Alhambra, Monkey Club, Bibo, Thai Gallery and Serafina.
